Statement I live and work in Mashiko, Japan, a rural town which is known throughout the world for pottery production.
We produce handmade stoneware pottery, basically for domestic use. This includes tableware, kitchenware, flower arrangement ware, as well as pottery for display purposes.
The style of my work reflects my long experience of living and working in the pottery community of Mashiko, Japan. It is my intention that pottery enthusiasts who see my ware can easily guess where it is made.
