Biography Trained in watercolor and steeped in the Maine landscape tradition, I have begun working in acrylics, which allows me to bring my love of transparent color to larger canvases. My work is available through my summer studio / gallery "Art @ the Flower Farm" in Sedgwick, Maine, and year-round through my online gallery.
Statement For me, painting is an analogy for life: a balance of risk and control, knowing when to go with the flow, knowing when to stop. I
paint to feel more connection with the natural world, and to embrace
the darkness in life along with the light.
