Biography For over forty years of photographing nature, landscapes and wildlife Brent L. Ander has wandered the world with an artist's eye and a camera at the ready.
Brent's formal education is in fine arts and he has used the camera as a tool for nature and light study. He has exhibited his detailed fine artwork in many galleries and museums along with invitational exhibits around the United States, but until recently he has never exhibited his nature photographs. Many of the images he is displaying have the feel of a painting rather than a photograph and have been used as subjects for his artworks.
Statement I have spent a lifetime honing my eye for details in nature. I believe to be an artist requires an understanding of light, color and composition. More than anything else, it is the art of seeing that is important to me. | |
