Biography At age 12, Tim was introduced to what has been called "The King of Crafts", blacksmithing! Growing up on a small rural farm in Victoria, B.C. Canada, Tim was shown the basics of blacksmithing. Gaining experience through the metal working needs of operating the family's team of draft horses.
Tim went on to aircraft sheet metal fabrication and carbide toolmaking. From there he recognized the need to pursue his artistic ideas. During the next five years Tim created, operated and sold an art metal manufacturing business that supplied over 300 stores from Alaska to Florida.
Drawing on self taught techniques Tim can retain his creativity and is open to new explorations. Applying welding, plasma cutting and blacksmithing techniques to create beautiful works of art. Tim utilizes recycled and scrap steel. He then finishes his work with high quaility powder coating. The Rave'n' Iron work is of heirloom quaility to be enjoyed for generations.
